Team Manager (Head Coach)
Responsible for running the team including practices and games; instruct players in proper baseball skills; involve parents with the team and league activities; works with team scorekeepers; will take on team safety officer responsibilities including inspecting player's equipment, bringing team first aid kit and safety manual to each practice and game
Assistant Coach
Helps to instruct players in baseball skills; helps at practices and games; assists manager with team safety officer responsibilities
Team Parent
The Team Parent is responsible for off-field organization and parent communication. Responsible for handling administrative and communication tasks for the team which allows the head coach/manager to concentrate on coaching the players. Duties may include picking up uniforms from the uniform coordinator and distributing them to parents, organizing snack lists, distributing picture day order forms, etc.
Dugout Parent (Weeball-Rookie)
This individual will monitor and supervise players in the dugout during games.
Bleacher Monitor
Responsible for making sure the bleacher area is cleaned after each game.
Scoreboard
Keep score for both teams during a game and coordinate with opponent's bookkeeper
Scorebook
Keep the official book for both teams during a game and coordinate with opponent's scorekeeper
Raffle Basket Coordinator
(ONLY IN SPRING) Responsible for choosing a basket theme, collecting donations, assembling basket and delivering it to the opening day ceremony.
Field Prep
Responsible for prepping the field for your child’s team prior to game time.1. Walk the field to spot safety issues. 2. Rake/drag the field 3. Chalk batter's box and foul lines
Uniform Coordinator-Regular Season
Responsible for working with an approved vendor to order regular season jersey and the ensure the distribution of the jerseys to all teams.
Uniform Coordinator-All Stars
Responsible for working with an approved vendor to order All Star jerseys and the ensure the distribution of the jerseys to all teams.
Event Planning Coordinator
Take lead on administration and organization for all league events including Opening day, Spring Carnival, Sandlot Days, Movie nights, etc. Work with vendors to secure equipment, food, etc. as needed. Recruit and manage volunteers to assist with event operations.
Fundraising Coordinator
Works directly with Event Planning Coordinator to plan and organize all league fund-raising activities.
Oversees the activities of the Assistant Fundraising Coordinator.
Solicits and secures local fundraising opportunities
Communicates with Volunteer Coordinator to assist in finding event volunteers
Assistant Fundraising Coordinator
Responsible for assisting the Fundraiser Coordinator in any administrative duties that are needed.
Field Clean-up crew
Responsible for participating on Field Clean-Up Day with cleaning up leaves and other debris from around the fields, and other special tasks assigned.
League Photographer Director
Responsible for collecting (through personal photography or from submissions from other league photographers) images pertaining to the organization and play of baseball and softball of all players, coaches, board members, volunteers, and attendees of Martinez-Evans Little League. Gathers and stores image/subject permissions, as needed. Ensures that all photos are uploaded and organized within the league's Google Drive.
League Photographer
Responsible for taking pictures during games, events, etc. and turning pictures into the League Photographer Director.
Evalution Day- Registration Table
Responsible for checking in each player & applying name tags
Evaluation Day- Hitting
Responsible for hitting and throwing balls to players on the field
Evaluation Day- Fielding
Responsible for helping catch/field balls.
Evaluation Day-Dugout
Responsible for keeping players organized and paying attention to keep things moving quickly.
